On Friday, June 8, 2012 Food Insurance™ announced via Facebook, that it will donate $1 to Homes For Our Troops for each new “like” received through July 4, 2012.
Homes For Our Troops builds specially adapted houses for severally injured veterans at no cost to the veterans. They have received four out of four stars from Charity Navigator and an “A” rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy.
Food Insurance™ has helped several other charites through its Facebook page, including Special Operation Warrior Foundation, Fisher House, and American Heart Association, and is excited for this opportunity to team up with Homes For Our Troops.
